A Russ Hillier photographic charter run on 31 10 2011 using visiting Caledonian Railway class812 ,No828 hauling four teak bodied coaches along the full length of the line. Built in 1899 at St Rollox Glasgow works of the Caledonian Railway, the engine carries a rather splendid Blue livery which along with the strong Autumn colours contrasted with the drab lighting conditions.
As usual my thanks to Russ and the staff at the Severn Valley Railway for the day's entertainment.
